Hey guys. I just have on simple prayer request; so I was getting a lot of money sent in for a while. But then all of the sudden like no one has sent any in for like a month. I know,I’m not completely counting on other people to provide for me,but I sent out 40 letters and only like 8 people have sent money in,including my mom who sent in like 600. I now have $1,615. I’m thinking people have forgotten and it’ll probably get in like last minute..but I’m still a little worried. Just be praying for my patience…Thanks!

  1. What I might suggest besides mass prayer that I’m sure you are already doing, is to call people up for coffee and when you are out share more of your heart. And when the question comes up of how is your support going be honest. With my last trip a fourth of my money came in during training camp…lol

  2. Hey I’m the same way! My last donation was on May 7.. and before that April 9th.. I’ve been going crazy these past few weeks… telling EVERYONE… because about a week ago I listened to a sermon by this guy named Matt Chandler (he has a podcast check him out-he’s amazing!) and he talked about how sitting around and waiting for God to do something isn’t going to accomplish much of anything. (not that that’s what YOU’VE been doing, it however was what I was doing).

    2 Timothy 2:6 says: “And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor”

    Basically the hardworking farmer doesn’t just pray for God to make it rain.. he works at the land, until he is exhausted while praying for God to make it rain.

    I don’t know if that helps, but it definitely woke me up from my laziness and procrastination about my money. 🙂
