Oh my goodness. Thinking about this trips runs so many thoughts through my head. -Am I going to raise the money that I need? -Am I going to have what it takes to be a big impact in others lives? -Am I going to be able get everything I need?
I mean of course,God has it under control. He can take care of financial needs. He knows i’m going to impact lives,he called me to do it. He’s going to provide everything.
Ever since the day I found out that I was going to the Dominican Republic with a bunch of people I don’t know at all,all i’ve been doing is praying for the people we are about to serve. Praying for our leaders and praying for our team. Going to the Dominican Republic is going to be a huge changing experience and I hope to just learn to be 100% content with what I have. No one has a perfect life. And seeing the people there is probably going to be heart-breaking. But my job is going to be to encourage them, bring them the love of God and lift them up. I want to see children dancing and singing to worship songs. I want to see families come together to worship God. Now, I know God has a plan and I know its going to be the best of all. I am so excited to embark on this incredible adventure!
My Prayers:
– That I raise enough financial support to be able to go on this trip.
– That people are also supporting me through prayer.
– That I would give all my worries up to God.
– That I would have peace until we leave.

Thanks Hannah!!And yes…homeschooling is the way to go 🙂 How long have you been homeschooled?
My whole life. I have three (quite older) siblings, and my mom had decided to homeschool my 26 year old brother when He started kindergarten. She’s a pro at it by now! But we do co-ops and those sort of things, so I don’t think that we fit into the “mold” of homeschooling. Are you involved with a co-op of some sort?
Erin,
Great blog! Thanks so much for your prayers! We leaders are lifting each of you up daily in our prayers, too! I love that you have a heart for prayer and I’m excited to see how your prayers will be answered on the field.

I think that all of the people on the team are having the very same expectations! Praying for you and the rest of my team mates!
