Derek Schoffstall

Hey team, I’m Derek Schoffstall. As you all probably known already, I am the only male going on the trip, except for our male leader of course. There isn’t much about me. I am almost 6 foot tall, I play soccer, run track, do chores mow the lawn, mostly things normal boys do, ha. I really feel like God wanted me on this trip this summer because I was kind of lead into it by him. My plan for this summer was to return to Africa again (which is where i went last year on a missions trip) however when I checked the availibilty of the trip in very early January, it was already full. When I saw that i felt like God wanted my somewhere else, so I checked different places out on AIM’s website, and I felt most lead to this one, and I am not sure why. But what I do know, is that God has a plan, and he put me in this trip to fufill his plan. I love ministiring, especially in different countries. I love playing with the kids there, and I love helping out in anyway that I can.
